2008 was a challenge for the organic winemaker. We had a few pests to deal
with along with difficult weather conditions. The late summer ultimately produced a great wine.

 Puy l'Eveque, the perfect terroire

The region around Puy l'Eveque (Bishop's Mount) is home to a number of France's top vineyards. It is also the oldest winegrowing region of France.

The first vines were brought here by the Roman legions around 2000 years ago, and the region has become renowned for it's distinctive, "black" wine based primarily on the Malbec grape. It has a fascinating history.
